Editing your profile and user settings in Canvas

To access your profile and settings, select Account in the global navigation menu (See Fig. 1).  

• Add or edit your user profile.
• Add or edit a profile photo.
• Set default language.
• Set time zone (strongly recommended if you do not live in the Central time zone; this will update all due dates and times to your own time zone).
• Adjust email notification preferences, including adding a text (SMS) option for receiving course notifications.
• Export assignment submissions from past and present courses.
• Upload and manage files across courses.
