Panopto: Retention policy changes
As of June 1, unplayed content will be automatically archived after 18 months, including imported Zoom recordings. Archived video must be restored before it can be accessed and viewed — a process that can take as long as 48 hours, depending on how long the video has been archived.
In addition, archived content:
No longer appears in library browsing
Continues to appear in search results until deleted
Is permanently deleted after three years of inactivity
