This forum is for instructors across the UM System to share their experience and ask questions about everything related to teaching in an online environment.
This Teaching Tools site has a bunch of useful resources, but I thought I'd highlight the page I have gotten the most mileage out of in the last two weeks:
The graphics in the top half of the page have been invaluable when I have helped other faculty try to quickly match a tool for a task as we scramble online.
The matrix table in the bottom half of the page is a quickly digestible summary of which applications do what. Even though I've used each of the included applications over the years, this table highlighted key features present or absent in each that I had forgotten or never noticed.
A round of applause for the author of this one!
